About Me
My husband and I have two daughters and live on a small farm in Twin Falls, Idaho. We live two miles from the dairy and row crop farm I grew up on. As a child I was always outside on the farm with my dad and brother. For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a veterinarian.
I graduated from veterinary school in 2004 and love being a dairy veterinarian. I'm also a wife, mom, farmer, advocate for agriculture and avid runner. I keep busy managing our small farm, working part time as a dairy veterinarian, volunteering at school for my children and all of the usual mom jobs. We are definitely a busy family, but I wouldn't change anything!
I am frequently asked what I do as a dairy veterinarian. While this is a pretty straightforward question, the answer is a little more complicated!
I love to share my stories and experiences in agriculture. I'm new to blogging but have a goal to become better at it. If you have a topic you would like to know more about, please let me know!
